PKZIP® for Windows is a programme providing an easy-to-use interface with powerful features and functions for compressing and uncompressing files. For more advanced features and more detailed information visit http://www.pkware.com

After downloading and saving the basic shareware version to your computer, just double-click the icon and follow installation instructions. Use the new programme to unzip and extract files that are compressed in zip format.

NOTE
This programme may not be necessary if you are using some versions of Windows 98/ME or 2000 with built-in "compressed folders". After downloading a zipped file, just drag the file out of the compressed folder to extract it. Refer to the documentation or help files on your computer for more information.
